WALKING IN VICTORY
OVERCOMMING REJECTION

Tonight God wants you to exercise your faith.

1) Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb.11:6).
2) What is not faith is sin (Rom. 14:23).
3) Faith comes by hearing & hearing by the Word of God (Rom. 10:17).

1) The word gives life.
2) The word gives health.
3) The word gives victory.

1) You are filled with all the fullness of God.
2) There is no room for sickness, hurt, pain or agony.
3) You are filled with the fullness of Jesus.

OVERCOMING REJECTION

There are people today, in the body of Christ - even right here - who needs God's help in Dealing with Rejection!!!
Everyone at one time or another has had to overcome some kind of rejection.
God has given diraction for receiving healing from rejection.

What causes Rejection???

Allowing your feelings to control your emotions.

Question:
What are feelings???
Emotion to any given situation:

1) Love - Hate
2) Joy - Sadness
3) Peace - Fear

THREE LEVELS OF REJECTION

1. Reaction to what you hear causes an emotional response.

1) Your mother dresses you funny.
2) You have a face that would stop a truck.
3) I hate you.
4) You have big ears.

Question:
Does what you speak cause a emotional or spiritual reaction???
How you react to what you hear - must not control your emotions!!!
If your emotion rules your life - then you have no control of your spirit, and your life will be out of control.
Words of "offence" are a trap of the devil and they will cause rejection and unforgiveness.

2. Reaction to what you see causes a emotional and spiritual response.

This speaks of the eye (your spiritual eye) that is not diseased or defective.
It is having the ability by the Spirit of God - to look and see that which is right and wrong.
We are to see the things of this world through the eye of the Spirit of God - clearly and not confused.
If you do not filter all things through the Spirit and God's word --What you see will effect you and your emotions.
It does not matter how others see you - what matters is how God sees you!!!

3. The Result and Reaction of the "Touch" has the power to give life or to distroy it!!!

1) An emotional response.
2) A physical response.
3) A spiritual response.

The involvement of the physical touch, in regards to the enemy.

God concerns himself with the things that concerns you.
It does not matter how great or small they are - God concerns himself with each of them.
What ever affects us affects God.
God says in His word - He is ever and always watchful and faithful to His children.

TWELVE PRINCIPLES FOR OVERCOMING
AND LIVING ABOVE REFECTION

1. It does not matter whether other people have rejected me - God has accepte me just as I am.
(Eph.1:6)
2. My position, acceptance and standing does not depend upon people - places or things. My position, acceptance and standing depends on God -
A. His love
B. His authority
C. His righteousness
3. I choose to forgive myself and accept God's forgiveness to me. (1John 1:9)
4. I will not allow the devil to harass me about my past - or any previous wrong doings. (Ps. 103:12)
5. I have been freeded, forgiven and cleansed by the power of Jesus - His Blood and sacriface. (Gal.5:1)
6. I forgive others and free them and do not hold their sin against them no more. (John 20:23)
7. As an act of my will, I choose to forgive thoes who hurt me, thoes who have harmed me and thoes who have spoken things about me.
I choose to free them from my thinking
I desire for them peace and Mercy. (Matt. 6:12,14-15)
8. My mind is at peace and chooses to forget the past turmoils.
My mind now functions:
1) With God's Love.
2) With God's Thoughts.
3) With God's Ways. (Phil.4:6-8; 1Cor.2:16)
9. I am a brand new creation and all the old thing have passed away and now I stand clean in God's sight. (2Cor.5:16-18)
10. My emotions do not dictate my actions. (2Cor. 10:5)
11. God is the stability of all my times. (Isaiah 33:6)
12. I choose to walk in God's righteousness and peace!!! (1John 2:6)
