GOD'S PROMISE WHEN YOU

  • Feel Guilty
  • There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
But the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
    (Romans 8:1-2)

And such were some of you. But you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
    (1 Corinthians 6:11)

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through His faith.
    (Ephesians 3:12)

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.
    Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised);
    (Hebrews 10:22-23)

  • Feel Dejected
  • And it will be, before they call I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
    (Isaiah 65:24)

Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
    (Matthew 11:28-30)

Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
    (Hebrews 4:16)

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.
Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
    (James 4:8,10)

  • Feel Despair
  • Uphold me according to Your Word, that I may live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
    (Psalm 119:116)

    For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity; whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
    (Isaiah 57:15)

    Ah, Lord Jehovah!
You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and stretched out arm.
Nothing is too great for You.
    (Jeremiah 32:17)

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great recompense of reward.
    (Hebrews 10:35)

  • Are Disappointed
  • When His disciples heard, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
But Jesus looked on them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
    (Matthew 19:25-26)

And He asked his father, How long ago has it been since this came to him? And he said, From childhood.
And oftentimes it has cast him into the fire and into the waters to destroy him.
But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.
Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.
And immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.
    (Mark 9:21-24)

If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.
    (John 15:7)

    Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us;
    (Ephesians 3:20)

  • Are Depressed
  • And Jehovah is He who goes before you.
He will be with you; He will not fail you nor forsake you.
Do not fear; nor be dismayed.
    (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Jehovah is near to the broken-hearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.
    (Psalm 34:18)

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break out into singing, O mountains; for the Lord has comforted His people, and will have mercy on His afflicted.
But Zion said, Jehovah has forsaken me, and my LORD has forgotten me.
Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
    (Isaiah 49:13-15)

And hope does not make us ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.
    (Romans 5:5)

  • Are Persecuted
  • Do not fret yourself with evil doers; and do not be envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon wither like the grass; and fade as the green herb.
    (Psalm 37:1-2)

Blessed are they who have been persecuted for righteousness sake!
For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great.
For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
    (Matthew 5:10-12)

    In every way having been troubled, but not having been hemmed in; having been perplexed, but not utterly at a loss;
    Having been persecuted, but not having been forsaken; having been thrown down, but not having been destroyed;
Always bearing about the dying of the Lord Jesus in the body, so that the life of Jesus also might be revealed in our body.
For we who live are always being delivered to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus might also be revealed in our body.
So then death works in us, but life in you.
    (2 Corinthians 4:8-12)

And who is the one who will harm you if you become imitators of the good?
    But if you also suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, nor be troubled;
    (1 Peter 3:13-14)

  • Are Anxious
  • Cast your burden on Jehovah, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.
    (Psalm 55:22)

For I, Jehovah your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
    (Isaiah 41:13)

Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls.
    (Matthew 11:28-29)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
    (Philippians 4:6-7)

Casting all your anxiety onto Him, for He cares for you.
    (1 Peter 5:7)

  • Are Filled With Longing
  • Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
    (Psalm 37:4)

For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
    (Psalm 84:11)

Who satisfies your mouth with good; your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
    (Psalm 103:5)

  • Are Sick
  • I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
    (Isaiah 57:18)

And evening coming on, they brought to Him many who had been possessed with demons.
And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "He took on Himself our weaknesses and bore our sicknesses."
    (Matthew 8:16-17)

I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me.
In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer.
    I have overcome the world.
    (John 16:33)

    Is any sick among you?
Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.
And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
    (James 5:14-15)

  • Are Impatient
  • I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah in the land of the living.
Hope in Jehovah; be of good courage, and He shall make your heart strong; yea, hope in Jehovah.
    (Psalm 27:13-14)

Indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life.
    (Romans 2:7)

But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, as a pattern to those being about to believe on Him to life everlasting.
    (1 Timothy 1:16)

That you be not slothful, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
    (Hebrews 6:12)

  • Are Confused
  • I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you, My eye shall be on you.
    (Psalm 32:8)

    And I will bring the blind by a way they knew not;
    I will lead them in paths they have not known;
I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.
I will do these things to them, and not forsake them.
    (Isaiah 42:16)

Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
    (John 8:12)

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
    (John 14:27)

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
    (James 1:5)

  • Are Tempted
  • But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
    My foot has held fast in His steps; I have kept His way, and have not fallen away;
    (Job 23:10-11)

No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.
    (1 Corinthians 10:13)

For in that He Himself has suffered, having been tempted, He is able to rescue those who are being tempted.
    (Hebrews 2:18)

For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.
Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
    (Hebrews 4:15-16)

My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into different kinds of temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith works patience.
But let patience have its perfect work, so that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing.
    (James 1:2-4)

Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one.
But each one is tempted by his lusts, being drawn away and seduced by them.
    (James 1:13-14)

    Be sensible and vigilant, because your adversary the Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour;
Whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions in the world are being completed in your brotherhood.
But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
    (1 Peter 5:8-10)

  • Are Weak
  • Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God.
I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.
    (Isaiah 41:10)

So that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He shall also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful, by whom you were called to the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
    (1 Corinthians 1:7-9)

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.
Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.
    (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

  • Are Afraid
  • I will lie down, both in peace and in sleep. For You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.
    (Psalm 4:8)

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
    (Psalm 23:4)

Say to those of a hasty heart, Be strong, fear not; behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the full dealing of God. He will come and save you.
    (Isaiah 35:4)

But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    (Romans 8:37-39)

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
    (2 Timothy 1:7)

So that we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me."
    (Hebrews 13:6)

  • Obey
  • For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He shall reward each one according to his works.
    (Matthew 16:27)

Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed on Him, If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    (John 8:31-32)

He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me.
And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word.
And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
    (John 14:21, 23)

But whoever looks into the perfect Law of liberty and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work.
This one shall be blessed in his doing.
    (James 1:25)

  • Are In Need
  • And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life.
He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes on Me shall never thirst.
    (John 6:35)

Now He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for eating, may He supply and multiply your seed, and increase the fruits of your righteousness you being enriched in everything to all generosity, which works out thanksgiving to God through us.
    (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)

Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen.
    (Ephesians 3:20-21)

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
    (Philippians 4:19)

  • Grieve
  • I beseech You, let Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your Word to Your servant.
Let Your tender mercies come to me so that I may live; for Your Law is my delight.
    (Psalm 119:76-77)

Blessed are they that mourn! For they shall be comforted.
    (Matthew 5:4)

Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice.
And you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour has come.
But when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man is born into the world.
And therefore you now have sorrow.
But I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
    (John 16:20-22)

And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.
    (Revelation 21:3-4)

  • Suffer
  • Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.
    (Psalm 34:19)

Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.
    (Nahum 1:7)

I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me.
In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer.
    I have overcome the world.
    (John 16:33)

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.
    (Romans 8:16-17)

For what glory is it if you patiently endure while sinning and being buffeted?
But if you suffer while doing good, and patiently endure, this is a grace from God.
For you were not called to this?
    For Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps;
    (1 Peter 2:20-21)

Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you, but rejoice according as you are partakers of Christ's suffering, so that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
    (1 Peter 4:12-13)

  • Fail
  • Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and of good courage.
Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed.
For Jehovah your God is with you in all places where you go.
    (Joshua 1:9)

But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
    (Romans 5:8)

For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise.
    (Hebrews 10:36)

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
    (1 John 1:8-9)

  • Doubt
  • He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
    (John 3:18)

Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life!
He who believes in Me, though he die, yet he shall live.
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
    Do you believe this?
    (John 11:25-26)

But to him not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
    (Romans 4:5)

Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
    (1 John 4:15-16)
