WALKING IN FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE
1 Corinthians 13:13
"Now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
Three Great Priorities In Our Relationship With Jesus
Faith, hope and love define what it means to be filled with the Spirit or to walk in the Spirit.
1. Faith:
Faith releases God's power and activity into the natural realm.
Faith releases the gifts of the Spirit.
Faith is our confident agreement with the Spirit and the Word.
Faith grows as we understand who we are in Christ and the authority that we have in Christ.
Faith brings the breakthrough of God's power for our heart, body, ministry and the release of His favor on circumstances (finances, open doors for harvest/personal) and removal of Satan's resistance.
2. Hope:
Hope is a confident agreement with God's future plans.
Hope is the certainty of ultimate victory.
Hope is the message of eternity (establishing heaven on earth) and the End-Time drama (prepares for it).
3. Love:
Love is intimacy with God and being like God.
Love characterizes the lifestyle of every believer, as seen in the Sermon on the Mount.
Love is the message of how to enjoy God with all your heart, and then expressing it to others.
Faith is the way to release the gifts of the Spirit, but Love is the purpose of them.
The action of every gift of the Spirit is by faith, but Love is the reason why they operate.
The hope message stabilizes us, and keeps us focused and in peace without fear, and Love never fails in God's presence.
1 Corinthians 13:8
"Love never fails."
Hebrews 6:10
"God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister."
