		[ Events ] December, 6 2007 gallery " Academy " celebrated the 5-anniversary Authors who cooperated with gallery in due time, have presented one of the works to attention of visitors			gallery " Academy " : Five years of exhibition activity Many old and new friends, and also those who is not indifferent to art and to art of Kharkov, came to congratulate gallery The idea of creation of such exhibition institution has arisen for a long time and, at last, it was realized in the Kharkov state academy of design and arts December, 3 2002. The gallery has received the name "Academy". Both the name, and an arrangement in one of the best art high schools of the country has determined a level on which the young gallery should be always. The rector of academy has told : "It is "gallery - child prodigy" which has done at such children's age so much". It has done really much. It is more than 100 projects, both in academy of design and arts, and behind its walls. Authors and participants of projects were painters, graphic artists, sculptors, designers who are widely known in Ukraine, and also foreign visitors. The project " From heart to heart " was one of important for gallery. About 500 products were brought in Lvov and were on display in the Lvov National museum. Due to this the Western Ukraine has had an opportunity to get acquainted with art of Kharkov. This action was just during Orange revolution. Such alive classics as Alexander Vjatkin, Igor Stahanov were exposed in gallery " Academy ". The gallery has not given to forget to inhabitants of Kharkov such artists, as Vasily Ermilov and Valerian Nestorov. Many artists who head ratings in Ukraine, became friends of gallery. The gallery considers, that opening of new names is the big victory among other victories. Irina Kaljuzhnaja, Alexander Vinnik, Denis Sarazhin and other young painters were open by gallery. Many poster actions were carried out due to fruitful cooperation with faculty of graphic design and Association of graphic designers " 4-th Block ": " Ukraine which is seen with eyes of youth ", " Green Kharkov ", " Holiday of cyrillics " which has visited also Lvov, the annual action " Designers against fur " and many others. Poster art is a favourite genre for gallery. Gallery " Academy " is unique gallery in Ukraine which gives so much attention to the poster. The gallery closely cooperates with faculties, employees and students of the KSADA. Existence of such exhibition institution is the important page in life of the Kharkov state academy of design and arts.
